Hot Stone massage

As its name suggests, a hot stone massage involves using heated stones. The stones are placed on the body in specific spots, either guided anatomically or on energy points believed to help aid balance and flow. Beyond leaving the stones in place, the therapist will also use the stones to perform different massage techniques to ease any anxieties, tensions and pains.

Our Approach

The smooth and soothing river stones, or lava shells, retain heat exceptionally well using a special heater to heat.  Warmed up to around 45-50°C,  your therapist will ensure the temperature is perfect and consistent for you. They won’t use a microwave or other means of heating the stones, as this would give uneven or inaccurate temperature.

Always discuss your comfort levels as each person and each day can be different in sensitivity.

What clients say

After a diagnosis of osteo-arthritus I spoke to Alex (Podiatrist) and she was able to test me on a treadmill in her clinic and explain that my left leg was not walking the way it should. Alex took the time to explain everything and supplied custom made insoles, she also recommended the correct footwear i needed as well.
Alex comes to our house to take care of my wife and my feet, she is extremely approachable and knowledgeable and has a great caring attitude.
